About this programme
BFI NAMAH is a one-year, fully funded MedTech translation accelerator designed to help MedTech innovators, researchers, clinicians, and startups bridge the critical gap between early-stage research and market-ready medical devices. The program provides engineering expertise, product development infrastructure, regulatory guidance, clinical validation support, and commercialization support. It is run by Venture Center.
A grant is financial support you don’t repay — awarded against eligibility and, usually, agreed milestones or utilisation of funds. The amount and form of support that actually apply to you depend on the programme’s rules and how your application is assessed — they are not fixed for every applicant.

How it works
Venture Center and BFI provide access to certified engineering infrastructure, regulatory expertise and CDSCO approval guidance, ISO 13485-compliant manufacturing, clinical validation support, prototyping facilities, analytical services, business advisory, and cleanroom facilities. Selection occurs through open calls (twice yearly) or strategic nominations by the BFI-Venture Center Project Committee.

Academic researchers and biomedical scientists, MedTech startups at ideation or early prototype stages (TRL 2-5), clinicians and hospital teams with validated clinical problems, and independent innovators with viable MedTech concepts.
