Documents Required for Trade License

  • Electricity bill, Rent Agreement, or Property Tax receipt.
  • Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport.
  • GST Certificate, Certificate of Incorporation, or Partnership Deed.
  • Memorandum of Association (MoA).
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) - From the property owner (if rented premises).
  • Layout plan of business premises.

Trade License Registration Process

Applying for a Trade License is a fully online process through the respective Municipal Corporation portal.

Step 1: Visit the Municipal Corporation Website

  • Select "Citizen Services" and click on "Trade License".

Step 2: Sign Up & Fill the Application Form

  • Register using an email ID & mobile number.
  • Complete the application form with business details, address, and nature of trade.

Step 3: Upload Required Documents

  • Provide scanned copies of identity proof, business registration, and site plan.

Step 4: Fee Payment

  • Pay the applicable trade license fee online.

Step 5: Verification & Inspection

  • Municipal officers verify the documents and conduct inspections (if required).

Step 6: License Issuance

  • Once approved, the Trade License is issued, and businesses can legally operate.

Validity & Renewal of Trade License

Trade Licenses are valid for one year and must be renewed annually.

Important: Trade License renewal applications must be submitted 30 days before expiry to avoid penalties.
