About this programme
Startup Srujan Seed Support (S4) is a flagship student startup grant programme under Gujarat's Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP 2.0). The scheme provides grants of ₹2.5–₹10 lakh to student innovators and young entrepreneurs (≤35 years) from Gujarat for prototype development, MVP validation, product refinement, and early commercialization. The programme is implemented by the Gujarat Student Startup and Innovation Hub (i-Hub Gujarat) under the Education Department, Government of Gujarat.
A grant is financial support you don’t repay — awarded against eligibility and, usually, agreed milestones or utilisation of funds. The amount and form of support that actually apply to you depend on the programme’s rules and how your application is assessed — they are not fixed for every applicant.
Like most government programmes, it has its own eligibility conditions, documentation and application window, and these terms are revised from time to time. Because of that, it is worth confirming the current eligibility, amount and deadline on the official programme page before you invest time in applying.
How it works
i-Hub Gujarat receives applications from eligible student innovators/startups. The hub provides structured ecosystem support including mentorship, institutional backing, and innovation resources alongside the financial grant. Funds are disbursed to support prototype development, MVP creation, product refinement, and commercialization activities. The programme is cohort-based with defined timelines and milestone tracking.
