About this programme
Under the Gujarat IT/ITeS Policy 2022, the state funds ICT & Deep Tech incubators with CAPEX support (up to 25% of eligible expenditure, max INR 25 crore) and OPEX support (up to INR 10 crore/year for 5 years), plus subsidies on power tariff, bandwidth and cloud rental. Accelerators separately receive 10% assistance (max INR 10 lakh per startup) for investments they facilitate through VCs/investors into ICT & Deep Tech startups, along with support for R&D/prototyping, patent costs, quality certification, shared infrastructure, and lease rental for the startups they back. It is run by Government of Gujarat – Directorate of ICT & e-Governance.
This is equity funding — the investor (often through a fund) takes a stake in your company in exchange for capital, rather than lending or granting money. You give up some ownership; you don’t repay it like a loan. The amount and form of support that actually apply to you depend on the programme’s rules and how your application is assessed — they are not fixed for every applicant.
It is aimed at businesses in ict & deep tech (ai/ml, iot, blockchain, semiconductors, robotics, ev, fintech, clean energy), gujarat. Because of that, it is worth confirming the current eligibility, amount and deadline on the official programme page before you invest time in applying.
