About this programme
Womenpreneur for Bharat 4.0 is a government support programme for eligible Indian businesses. It is run by PIEDS : Pilani Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Society, BITS Pilani , in association with Aditya Birla Capital Foundation.

Who can apply
Applicant must be from a Tier 2 & 3 city of Bharat. Women entrepreneurs must hold more than 51% equity in the company Startup is at least at the idea stage and has a Proof-of-Concept or a prototype The startup has not received more than 20 Lacs in grants or seed funding, and the revenue of the startup doesn’t exceed Rs. 1 Cr / year. A startup is a for-profit, private limited company as per the Companies Act. If the startup has not yet incorporated, the startup must agree to form a private limited company if selected in the program. Is a valid startup as per the DPIIT Startup Definition, and it has a DPIIT certification. Must Align With One or More of The UN-SDG Goals 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, & 13 Agriculture / Food, Beverages, Nutrition (SDG - 2) Healthcare (SDG – 3) Education (SDG – 4) Women Welfare and Safety (SDG – 5) Fintech/ Micro Lending / Retail and Digital Commerce (SDG – 8)
