SIDBI project and operational finance
13 verified programmes in the CapEasy funding directory. Every entry links to its official source.
The Small Industries Development Bank of India lends to MSMEs directly and through partner institutions, and its schemes are debt rather than grants. That matters: these are loans with interest, security expectations and repayment schedules, and they are assessed on the strength of your financials rather than on the novelty of your idea.
SIDBI products tend to be purpose-bound — plant and machinery, working capital, technology upgrades, green projects — and applying against the wrong product is a common cause of rejection. Match the scheme to what the money is actually for before you look at the ceiling.

Questions founders ask.
No. SIDBI schemes in this directory are debt instruments — term loans, working-capital facilities and interest-subvention products. They carry interest and repayment obligations. Grant programmes are listed separately in the directory.
It depends on the product and the amount. Some facilities are covered by the CGTMSE credit guarantee, which is designed to let lenders extend credit to micro and small enterprises without conventional collateral. Others expect security. The scheme entry and the official page state the position.
Generally these products assume an operating business with financial statements. A pre-revenue startup is usually better served by the grant and seed-fund programmes elsewhere in this directory.
